Let's find some new friends for your dog!

If you have a dog-friendly dog, and are looking for some opportunities for your dog to meet new friends, this is the class for you. We'll focus on how to safely introduce dogs, how to monitor interactions, and how to determine if everyone is having fun and interacting safely. Graduates will be able to use these skills to safely introduce your dog to other dogs in your family and community.

Location: Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic for lesson 1; other lessons will be at local parks (info will be provided to students)

Class Length:  4-week series (About 1 hour lessons)

Class Size: 4 dog maximum

What will you and your dog learn in this class?

How to safely introduce dogs on leash or off leash to other dogs and people. How to create opportunities for positive relationships between dogs. How to monitor interactions to make sure everything is safe and fun.

 

What kind of dog is this class for?

Dogs of all ages, who have completed the prerequisites (below).

 

Are there any prerequisites for this class?

Because this class builds on existing class material, we require students to take our Family Dog Manners or Puppy Preschool class prior to enrollment in Barks and Recreation.

Our classes fill up quickly! If you already plan on taking Family Dog Manners or Puppy Preschool and then Barks and Recreation  immediately after, call (920) 648-2421 or email us to claim your spot before the class fills up!

 

How much does this class cost?

The price of Barks and Recreation is $150, which includes lessons and take-home handouts.
