Expecting a baby? Learn how to set your pets up for success with a new baby in the household! A little planning goes a long way toward giving your pets the best transition, and will make you feel more comfortable, too.
Did you know that some pets need several months to adjust to changes associated with a baby? The sooner you start, the smoother it goes. Join Danielle Bartz and Abbey Jaeckel of the Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic for some great advice!
Important Details: This event is for people only. There is no cost, but donations are greatly appreciated to help us continue providing these free community events. Attendees must RSVP online.
Meet Your Instructors
Danielle Bartz, Certified Veterinary Technician at Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic
Danielle has been teaching classes as part of our behavior team since 2014. We're excited to announce that she became part of our veterinary clinic staff in October 2016, and is now our Office Manager.
Abbey Jaeckel, Receptionist at Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic
Abbey joined the talented front desk team at Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic (LMVC) in 2019. Prior, Abbey worked in the veterinary field for over ten years, bringing her diverse skills to the clinic.
You may know Abbey as afriendly receptionist, but she is also an event coordinator extraordinaire. She loves initiating and organizing the clinic's participation in holiday parades, benefit events, and workshops in our Pet Partners Community Education series. Abbey is excited to continue to work to engage the community with LMVC.
Abbey is Pet CPR certified, and has channeled her passion for this into one of our popular community education workshops, 'Stop, Drop, and Roll(over)!' Pet CPR and Fire Safety. She and CeCe Jaeckel, CVT, coordinate with the local volunteer Fire Department to conduct a free session each year.
