With my clean Left hand between palpating cows at the Griswold Farm, I retrieved a text message from Ryan Haack; Nothing feels more like a "win" than getting your hay baled and in the barn just before the rain.
I couldn't agree more, but I had to add to his celebration.
Once there was a woman running a combine, bent on picking the last bushel of corn before the sun set. Once done she climbed off the catwalk and with her husband made a mad dash to Farm and Fleet for a new tire for the grain buggy so they could get the harvest to the mill.
All was well but she was forced to give birth to Ryan's youngest sister in the parking lot of the hospital as it took a little extra time to mount and balance the new tire on the bent rim.
