Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic has partnered with two behavioral trainers who will help you understand your pet's behavior. From puppy preschool to tricks training, we offer fun, hands-on classes (basic through advanced) for dogs of all ages. Please call us at 920-648-2421 for class requirements and exact times. Classes fill up quickly--reserve your space today! Puppy classes are a 5-week course for puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age. Cost is $125. Puppies need to learn some important skills, including comfort with handling, appropriate play and good manners. You also need to ensure your puppy is well socialized — experts say puppies should meet at least 100 different people and a wide variety of friendly dogs before the age of four months. We will teach you these skills as well as training basics like sit, down, stay, wait, walk nicely on a leash, come when called, leave it and canine good manners. Come join us for the best start in life for your puppy! Family dog manners classes are a 6-week course for adult dogs over 6 months of age. Cost is $120. Miss out on puppy pre-school? A misbegotten childhood is not a total disaster. This class will help you teach your dog using fun, reward-based methods. Training topics include sit, down, stay, wait, walk nicely on leash, come when called, leave it, and good canine manners.
