In-House Diagnostics:
We have the ability to produce quick and accurate blood results when your pet is sick by using our in-house blood chemistry and complete blood count analyzers. The results can indicate if your pet has metabolic diseases such as kidney, liver disease, or if your pet is anemic or has an infection.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory is used to perform urinalysis, cytologies and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Surgical/Dental Procedures:
We use gas anesthesia for surgeries and dental cleanings to provide a safe and painless sleep for your pet. A Certified Veterinary Technician will monitor your pet using heart and respiratory monitors while the doctor performs the surgery. All animals are placed on a heated water blanket to maintain body temperature and are moved to a heated kennel or cage for their recovery.
A Certified Veterinary Technician performs routine cleanings which include scaling and polishing the teeth. When necessary, a doctor will remove difficult to extract teeth and perform gum surgery.
